Description

Pausing at the entrance to the throne room, Queen Tanithil, looked at the elves on either side of her with a note of satisfaction. One of the elven Ghost tribe, and one from her own house, both she thought were excellent choices for the first of many elven dragon riders. Any further thoughts were swept aside, when the doors swung, open, without pause and keeping her head high, she entered the throne room.

The human Queen, sat on her throne, with a smile, though Tanithil noticed her eyes seemed to cast from side to side, as if she was looking for someone. The elven queen almost paused in her steps when she caught sight of the three treasure chests. Such wealth, she thought, raiding the Imperials was worth their anger, if this was an example of the plunder, to be given as a dowry. Keeping her pace slow and steady, she gazed at the humans. The warriors, were the captains of the princesses bodyguards. Two body servants, and the princesses favorite dancer for entertainment. And unseen would be the five dragon riders that would help setup Princess Isabella's house in the elven lands, as well as the two elves that with her that would start their training as dragon riders. All in all, she mused, far greater riches then and she married and was given her dowry.

Stopping at the base of the steps leading up to the throne, Tanithil, gave a slight bow of her head to the human queen. Just enough the show proper respect, but no more so not to diminish her own authority as queen of the elven. "Queen Jeane," she said softly in greetings. "On behalf of the elvan, I take in my possession, the dowry of your sister, Princess Isabella." Pausing, she caught the eastern body servant, staring at her unabashedly, out of the corner of her eye. Yes...She thought, a most excellent dowry. "To guard, and make ready your sisters inheritance, as she establishes her household within my kingdom, as per our agreements."

Turning with a wave of her hand at the pair of elven women behind her, "Per arrangement, I present two elvan's, to be taken in your house, to be trained as dragon riders, hopefully the first of many between our two kingdoms."

Smiling, the human queen nodded, before standing and stepping down from the throne, "Enough all this courtly monologue, I turn my sisters inheritance, over to you. This treasure, along with her servants and guards, are now yours to do as you will." Turning her head slightly to the side, the young queen looked back towards the entrance. A hint of disappointment clouding her features. "I thought your daughter, Princess Sarya would be accompanying you?"

Tanithil, had been queen of the elves for over fifty years, she was well schooled in the art of hiding her emotions. Nevertheless the wishfulness of the humans expression, almost cause her to gasp. It was obvious to her, that the human queen was infatuated with her daughter. Which could be a disaster, if she suddenly wanted Sarya for herself. All the agreements involved the two princesses. If Jeane, called off the wedding to take her daughter for herself. While Tanithil would have wished that in the beginning, now, how would the princess react? What kind of riff would it cause between the sisters. How would the human queens subjects react to such an act? If the queen didn't interfere with the ceremony, what about later, would she try to share the marriage bed? Tanithil, knew that Sarya would not hold back if the queen showed an interest in that. However again, how would the princess react?

She felt the beginnings if a headache coming on. "Your sister is giving her intended, a tour of the castle, with chaperones of course." She said softly while trying to direct the human over in hopes that introducing the servants would make her at least temporarily, forget about her daughter. And maybe, if the opportunity presented itself, see if the earlier encounter with her daughter had left the queen with a more lasting gift.

(This took longer than I thought, getting all involved, all the outfits, poses, expressions, and the room, was a pain. Surprisingly, I only made a couple light adjustments. Hope you like the work.))

(((Updated image, while working on the next part, I changed the lighting and it came out very good, IMHO. So I went back to this one, changed the lighting and rendered it all over, and I think it came out better. Please, use download, the details come out a whole lot better.))
