UER Dark Times (UER History)

The Dark Times, the elves called it, during the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries. The Eastern elves were being slaughtered by the millions. During this time, some of the elven priestess started saying that the goddess had abandon them, that she demanded the blood of their murderers to appease her anger. Thus for the next two hundred years, thousands of human males were sacrificed on alters to the elven goddess.

The humans, some were explorer, settlers, solider's taken in raids. Any women taken in the raids were used as breeding stock, males were sent to the goddess for her to torment in the afterlife. In the later centuries, seventy three of the alters were found in various parts of eastern America, most were torn down, a few were turned into memorials to the humans that died.

It's only been in the last fifty years that three of the alters were found in the New Orleans district of the UER. All three showed use within the last fifty years. The discovery caused a torrent of horror movies in both the United State and the UER in which small secret sects of elves still practices human sacrifices, but no evidence of such ceremonies has ever been uncovered.
